New from Plaid: “35 Summers” off Scintilli

To call this “highly anticipated” is a bit of an understatement. It’s been five years since Michael Arias stole them from us. While I’d certainly call that a lucrative collaboration, discovering the impending drop of Scintilli (“sin-til-li”, or “I am many sparks” in Who-the-hell-knowsish) from Plaid feels like finding a childhood blanket I thought I’d lost tucked away in some forgotten corner of the closet. All I want to do is wrap myself in their ever more avantgarde brand of Fuck You Music Scene and let the plicky little un-quantized melodies wash over me. Also octopus babes.

Preorder at Bleep. Expected release date September 26th. Squee.
